Craicmore with Cashel Dennehy School Irish Dancers

With deep roots in the music of Scotland and Ireland, Craicmore features critically acclaimed contralto Nancy Johnston. Her deep, rich voice is rare in the genre. Driving rhythms from guitar, bass, Bohdran drum, conga and other percussion, along with high-spirited whistles, flutes and bagpipes, powerfully render jigs & reels. Four part harmony, rhythmic hardshoe dancing, an East Indian Shruti Box and rumbling Didgeridoo all accent the warmth and passion of Craicmore's fiery performances.

Cashel Dennehy has been featured at Irish Fest, Memphis in May, Disney World, many Wisconsin area festivals and events, and appeared with internationally acclaimed Irish musical groups such as Gaelic Storm, The Chieftans and Cherish the Ladies.

Over the course of her colorful career, singer songwriter Susan Werner has cultivated a reputation as a daring and innovative songwriter with a killer live show. She boldly endeavors to weave old with new to create altogether new genres of music when existing ones do not suit her muse, and she regularly keeps audiences guessing and laughing simultaneously.

Most of her work infuses traditional music styles and methods with her unmistakable contemporary worldview, constantly challenging listeners to experience music from a fresh and unexpected perspective. Susan Werner's new release Classics asks no less of her distinguished audience or herself.
